The Float Team Unit Practice Council is comprised
of nursing professionals who, together with the system’s overall team, are
dedicated to providing optimum care for our patients and their families. Our
mission is to provide excellence in health-care delivery based on the six
elements of the Relationship Based Care Delivery Model.
GOAL
Our goal is to represent peers on the Float Team
from each job description and all shifts in a fair and balanced manner. We
accept the responsibility, authority and accountability of this task.
OBJECTIVES
To develop healthy interpersonal relationships
between UPC members
To establish a communication network between the UPC and IOO% of the staff on
the Float Team
To assure the UPC arrives at final
decisions through the use of consensus
